There are several different types of credentials a person can obtain to become a prosthetist and to further their education.
STATE LICENSE: A licensure process is required in some but not all states. If you are in one of the states that require licensure, you should only see a licensed prosthetist.
MASTERS: A masters degree is the highest degree for a clinical prosthetist (MSPO).
CP/CPO: is a credential issued by
ABC.
BOCP: is a credential issued by
BOC.
FAAOP: is a credential issued by the
AAOP.
